Megan A. Graham - Graphic Artist & Animator
I'm a graphic artist and animator with 6+ years of extensive education in Animation and Game Art, plus 2 years hands-on experience. Skilled in 2D/3D animation using Adobe Creative Suite, Toon Boom Harmony, and Maya. With an ambitious spirit and a passion for turning dreams into reality, I’m on a journey to leave a lasting impression in the industry!
Growing up, like many children, I was always asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" My dreams were as fluid as my imagination—on one day, I envisioned myself as a princess ruling over a magical kingdom, on another, a mermaid exploring the depths of the ocean, or sometimes a vet, taking care of adorable animals, or a teacher, inspiring young minds. Each day brought a new aspiration, as is the whimsical way of childhood.

However, everything changed one day in my 4th-grade art class. I had painted a watercolor piece, a vibrant depiction of some colorful fish, not thinking much of it. But my teacher saw something special and showered it with praise. Her excitement was palpable, and it was the first time I realized my little doodles could have an impact. The piece was even featured in a college art show in the children's section, a moment that marked the turning point in my creative journey. It was the encouragement and belief from someone I respected that sparked the realization that being an artist wasn't just a dream—it was something I could genuinely pursue.

From that moment on, I was unstoppable. I immersed myself in drawing, exploring every avenue I could. My interest soon expanded to animation; I wanted not just to create characters but to breathe life into them. I was consumed by the desire to bring my drawings to life, to let them tell their stories. I enrolled in every art class available and sought out additional courses in digital media at the Cecil County School of Technology. I was propelled by the unwavering support of my teachers, family, and friends who fueled my passion and ambition.
My hard work began to pay off. With nothing more than a tablet and a dream, I embarked on a creative journey, independently completing capstone projects that truly showcased my artistic capabilities. This journey led to a profound milestone in my career: being honored with the prestigious Principal's Award at the Cecil County School of Technology. This accolade recognized my significant contributions in promoting our school and local businesses through my unique artistic endeavors. Later that same year, I had the privilege of showcasing my talents on a national level—representing our tech school at the SkillsUSA Nationals for 3D animation.

Fast forward four years, and I proudly graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor's degree in Animation—a significant milestone that I view as just the beginning of my story. Always eager for new challenges, I've now set my sights on a bachelor's degree in Game Development at SNHU.

Reflecting on my journey, I realize how far I've come and the endless possibilities that lie ahead. Each achievement is a testament to the dedication, support, and resilience that have been my constant companions. And so, with the spirit of that imaginative child still within me, I continue to create, to innovate, and to dream—knowing that this is only the beginning. I have no intentions of stopping anytime soon!
